This incident sparked a wild debate on the usage of nicotine pouches among athletes and whether it should be allowed during an NFL game. The controversy seems to have taken a different turn as the NFL is reportedly not taking any action against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, although it has been specifically mentioned that the use of nicotine on the sidelines or interviews in the NFL rule book.
