“Built for this game”: Gregg Popovich praises young Luka Doncic after Dallas Mavericks victory

His step back is an eye candy. Sheer domination and leader at such a young age, Luka is really magical. Carrying Dirk Nowitzki’s legacy at the Dallas Mavericks, Luka sees no stop to his exceptional performances. Luka is really something else, compared to other young prospects in the league.
Luka Doncic was the rookie of the season and is climbing higher in the race to MVP. With high projections this season, the Serbian seems captivating his nerve with some ankle breakers. Luka is averaging 26.1 points, 10.1 rebounds and 9.5 assists already in the season. In the match against San Antonio Spurs he was on cloud 9. Luka had 34 points, 10 rebound and 9 assist to his name just falling inches from his triple double.
Gregg Popovich on Luka Doncic’s early season Magic
Legendary head coach, Gregg Popovich seems to be delighted with Luka’s performance. He said, “He is quintessential basketball player with an intrinsic feel for the game. He was built for the game. Also he would probably be a great team handball player.” Popovich is a great coach and his applauds are a massive stature. The 21-year-old guard has really got some great followers in his early career.
The Mavs have the perfect situation right now as they are really equipped. The team is real balance and not to forget the Luka Magic. High hopes are put on their title run as they face the Houston Rockets next. Can they pull a title with Luka as their steering wheel?
