FC Bayern defeated Dortmund 3-2 in a pulsating encounter in Bundesliga. Both the teams took shots at each other and produced a match for the ages. However, Bayern just had an extra gear in them to beat Dortmund with Lewandowski, Sane and David Alaba getting the goals. Meanwhile, Dortmund put a great fight with goals from Haaland and Reus but it wasn’t enough in the end.

First Half

Both sides started the game really well and got ample opportunities to score. Bayern got the ball in the net first but Lewandowski was judged to be offside. However, Dortmund drew first blood through Marco Reus as he hit a wonderful side footed shot from a Guerreiro cross. Meanwhile, Bayern didn’t take long to respond as they got the goal within four minutes as David Alaba hit a stunning effort from outside the Box. The goal was right from the training ground as Gnabry played a short freekick to Muller and he passed it first time to Alaba to get the goal.

Second Half

Bayern came out even more motivated in the second half and got another goal within three minutes of the restart. The goal was scored by Lewandowski through a brilliant header from a Hernandez cross. To compound the misery on Dortmund, Flick sent on Sane from the bench for Coman.

Sane duly delivered for Bayern and got the goal through a wonderful left footed shot into the bottom corner past the goalkeeper. Meanwhile, Dortmund stepped up their efforts to get back in the match and got a goal through Haaland in the 83rd minute as he rounded off Neuer. They pushed hard for the equalizer but couldn’t find a way past Neuer.
