Burglary occurs at Ricky Ponting’s House In Melbourne

The reputed Australian veteran Ricky Ponting’s met a misfortune as he and his family were robbed last week by a couple of intruders. According to a report in 7 News, Ponting, his wife, and his three children were all at their bayside home in Melbourne on Friday night when thieves entered their property.

As per reports, the thieves stole Ponting’s car which was parked in the driveway. The following day, the police officials carried out their investigations to track down the car and the thieves.

As tracings are being carried out, the car was spotted being driven dangerously in Melbourne’s west before it was finally found being dumped in the Camberwell region.

However, two men reportedly were seen escaping the scene, and are police are on the hunt for the culprits.

Ricky Ponting even captained the Australian Team during his cricketing days. In his 17-year-long cricketing career, he won three World Cups for Australia, where two cups were clinched under his captaincy.
