Premier League: Burnley vs Leicester City Player Ratings as Leicester win with a 2-0 victory

Burnley vs Leicester City: Leicester came away with a much-needed 3 points after beating Burnley 2-0 in the Premier League.
The game was at a stalemate for more than 80 minutes before substitute James Maddison gave the Foxes a lead after a smart finish from the edge of the box. Vardy extended the lead in the 90th minute with a simple finish to put the game to bed.

Nick Pope(GK) (7.3/10): Pope made some good saves and came out to claim the ball from crosses. His distribution was poor though.
Connor Roberts(6.8/10): Roberts made some important tackles and interceptions but he lost possession a lot and his passing was sloppy.
James Tarkowski(6.6/10): Tarkowski did well for a majority of the game but could not put in the important block to deny Maddison.
Ben Mee(7/10): Mee was subbed off after 40 mins after picking up an injury, Had a solid performance till then.
Charlie Taylor(6.5/10): Taylor got up the pitch constantly but his crosses were poor.He did well dealing with long balls.
A Lenon(6.3/10): Lenon was quiet throughout the game. He could not create many chances for Burnley.
Ashley Westwood (7.4/10): Westwood was lively in midfield and put in a lot of crosses and passes forward. He did well progressing the ball forward.
James Brownhill(7,5/10): Brownhill was also good in midfield, His switching of play with long balls was impressive.
Dwight Mcneil(7.6/10): Mcneil constantly tried to beat the Leicester defenders and was successful mainly. His delivery from crosses could have been better
W Weghorst(6/10): Weghorst could not convert the one big chance that fell to him. He was constantly fed long balls but could not hold up the ball well.
Maxwel Cornet(6..4/10): Cornet did not see as much of the ball as he wanted to and could not impact the game much.
Substitutions:
Nathan Collins(7.2/10): Replaced Mee in the 40th minute and did a decent job in defence and made some good tackles

Jack Cork (6.2/10): Was on the pitch only for 19 minutes and could not help his side after coming on

Kasper Schmeichel (7.4/10): Schmeichel made a couple of decent saves. He also acted as a good sweeper keeper.
Çağlar Söyüncü (7.6/10): Played some good long balls from the back.Dealt with the threat of the Burnley forwards well.
Daniel Amartey (7.3/10): Helped keep the clean sheet and played a part in keeping Weghorst and Cornet quiet.
Ricardo Pereira (7/10): Only played for 45 minutes but was active in both ends of the pitch before being subbed off.
Luke Thomas (6.7/10): The left back did well defensively but did not get higher up the pitch and help his team with balls into the box.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (6.5/10): Made a few progressive passes into the final third. His end product from crosses and long balls were poor.
Wilfred Ndidi (7.3/10): Did well winning a lot of duels in the middle of the park. Lost the ball on a majority of ocasssions though.
Youri Tielemans (6.6/10): Could not impact the game much against Burnley’s low block.
Marc Albrighton (6.5/10): His passing accuracy was significantly poor but he still managed to ask questions with a few passes and crosses.
Harvey Barnes (7.3/10): Had a good game down the left-wing. Got an assist after smartly picking out Vardy with a cross.
Patson Daka (5.9/10): Had a poor game upfront and was unable to convert the chances he got.
Substitutions:
James Maddison (7.5/10): Came on in the 72nd minute and scored with an impressive effort from the edge of the box.
Jamie Vardy(8.2/10): Was an impact substitute setting up the Maddison goal and scoring a poacher’s goal later on after coming on in the 72nd minute.
Ademola Lookman(6.3/10): Had a quiet game after coming on in the 45th minute and was unable to seriously trouble the Burnley defence.
