Burnley vs Manchester City: Burnley squared off against Manchester City at the Turf Moore Stadium on matchday 28 of the ongoing season of Premier League

Manchester City was completely dominant throughout the match. Burnley never got any chance to make any counters or threaten the City defence. Two first half goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gündogan saw City take 2-0 lead at half time. The scoreline remained same till the end and Manchester City won 0-2 in a comfortable way

James Tarkowski (6/10): Tarkowski did a decent job of dealing with Foden’s guile. He also showed his aerial presence in defence.

Kevin Long (6/10): The 31-year old defender took his time to settle into the match. However, he made some telling contributions throughout the match.

Charlie Taylor (5.5/10): Taylor was at fault for conceding the first goal, giving Sterling plenty of space down the right flank.

Connor Roberts (6/10): Roberts was pinned back for most of the match, and hardly showed any presence in attack.

Josh Brownhill (6/10): The English midfielder was not able to create any major impact in match as he lost possesion several times.

Jack Cork (6/10): Cork made some good interceptions near the box. However, the Englishman failed to make any succesful forward plays and gave away possession.

Ashley Westwood (6/10): Westwood was a bit sloppy in possession and his defensive skills let a lot to be desired off

Dwight McNeil (6/10): McNeil played a few passes and tried to push his side up the field but could not deliver the final passes.

Aaron Lennon (6/10): Lennon made a few runs and made a few passes to help his team in attack but fell short everytime.

Wout Weghorst (/10): Hardly received any service played into him. He was good in holding shape while defence.

Maxwell Cornet (5/10): Cornet was not able bring anything into the game and was quite ineffective after coming on.

Jay Rodriguez (4/10): He did not get many opportunities to get into attacking areas and also had a pretty impactless game.

Ederson (7/10): The Man city Goalkeeper was hardly met with any tough situations and ended up with another clean sheet in his name.

Aymeric Laporte (7/10): The Spanish centre back hardly had anything to deal with and helped his side play out from the back to mark a very assured performance.

Nathan Aké (6.8/10): The Dutch defender also had similar performance and did have to deal with Burnley’s attack and had a pretty solid performance.

João Cancelo (7/10): The Portuguese left-back played some good passes and made a few good runs to help in the attack as well.

Kyle Walker (7/10): The English right-back spent most of his time and seldom had to drop to help in defense. He did well in putting crosses.

Rodri (7/10): The Spanish midfielder played a vital anchor role in the middle of the pitch and was point with his interceptions.

Ilkay Gündogan (8/10): The German international midfielder scored a goal in the first half of the game to make the score two at the early stages of the game.

Kevin De Bruyne (8/10): The Belgian midfielder was on his top game and scored a sensational goal early on in the match.

Phil Foden (7/10): The Youngster made some good movements inside the box and had some good passing accuracy.

Jack Grealish (6/10): Grealish made some good runs through the left flank. However, he could have been better with his final passes inside the box.

Raheem Sterling (7.5/10): The English winger showcased his skill set as he made some intelligent runs through the right side and ended up providing assists for both the goals.
