Caitlin Clark and boyfriend are in ‘double date’ group chat with NBA All-star

When Caitlin Clark was drafted by the Indiana Fever, one of the first people she met in her new workplace was Tyrese Haliburton. The Indiana Pacers star exchanged pleasantries with the soon-to-be WNBA Rookie of the Year. As time passed, the two-time All-Star started appearing courtside at Fever games along with his girlfriend Jade Jones and Clark’s boyfriend Connor McCaffery.

In his offseason, he saw the rookie lead her team to the playoffs. Now that Tyrese Haliburton‘s season is about to start, he was asked about those interactions at the team’s media session. He said that he became close with Clark and her boyfriend and that they all share a good friendship.

From his words, it is clear that the two biggest stars of Indiana basketball have become friends along with their respective partners. Haliburton revealed that they do not just talk about basketball. He said that the friendship was more organic than what would generally happen between star players.

The four of them being in a group chat indicates that they enjoy spending time together. Often during Indiana Fever games, Haliburton was spotted several times alongside his girlfriend and McCaffery. After those games, Clark would go over and give them all a hug.

These two Indiana basketball stars-turned-friends are looking to take their respective teams to the top. As the NBA season is about to start, it could mean that it will be Clark’s turn to be his courtside cheerleader.

Now that her rookie WNBA season is over, Caitlin Clark has a little over seven months before her next season begins. That is as long a period of rest as she could hope for after playing for nearly a year straight. But most of Clark’s colleagues and opponents are likely to head to play basketball in other leagues, notably in Europe.

Clark has not shown any interest in playing in Europe so far. She has also not given any clear indication of whether she will be part of the new Unrivaled Basketball league. With seven spots still left for their first group of players, the 22-year-old’s fans are hopeful that she will take part. After all, many of her rivals, particularly Angel Reese, have signed up.

Other than that, Clark revealed she will be spending time on the golf course. In the midst of all this, expect her to continue her development before next season as she will look to build upon the stellar rookie WNBA season.
