When Christmas comes along, usually it is the NBA that hogs most of the attention. At this time, Caitlin Clark and her WNBA peers are not talked about, unless it is about their ongoing CBA negotiations.
The Indiana Fever superstar has been vocal about the need to reach a landmark agreement that would change the league’s landscape and provide its players with the remuneration they feel they deserve.
The 23-year-old is not the one who needs the money, as she earned between $12 to 16 million from her sponsors in 2025. Among them is Nike, which has given the Iowa native the biggest signature sneaker contract in women’s basketball history.
They had released Caitlin Clark’s logo earlier this year and have already started selling apparel. Next year, they are poised to reveal her signature sneaker. Knowing how her custom PEs have performed, the sportswear giant decided to use the opportunity of Christmas to give fans something to look forward to.
They decided to create a commercial themed around her ability to shoot from long range. Dubbed ‘From Anywhere’, the commercial shows the superstar point guard being challenged to shoot from wherever they ask.

Featured in the commercial were the All-Iowa Attack boys team, her former Hawkeyes head coach Lisa Bluder, football stars Travis and Jason Kelce, comedian Michael Che, and rapper Travis Scott.
Fans love Nike’s new Caitlin Clark commercial
When it comes to this Caitlin Clark commercial, fans felt a new bar had been set with Nike collaborating with some of the biggest names in the sports and entertainment industry.
Fans believe that roping in the Kelce Brothers, along with Travis Scott, who are all her supporters, was massive, as it will open up new sales possibilities.
They took their time to appreciate Nike for coming out with this commercial on the biggest day of the Holidays, as well as for possibly promising a worldwide release. Check out examples of those reactions below.

Great commercial. Wonder what took Nike so long to put something like this out. Nevertheless, awesome spot.

The shoes 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nike coming up with such a commercial at this time of the year is indicative that they are possibly scheduled to not only show off concepts of Caitlin Clark‘s first-ever signature shoe. They will also use this opportunity to gauge fan interest.
The hype for women’s basketball merchandise is at an all-time high, and it seems Nike wants to make sure it makes the most of this opportunity with the 2-time All-Star as their next focus.
Caitlin Clark’s signature shoe could help Nike bounce back
Even though Nike has managed to continue enjoying its dominance in the sportswear market, the company has been on a decline since its 2021 peak.

The influx of new competitors and the lack of fresh new superstars have impacted its sales, which has led to a significant drop in investor confidence. That led to a change in its top leadership, which forced the board of directors to bring back a Nike lifer from retirement to help turn the company around.
In the midst of their efforts to recover from their slump, they made sure Caitlin Clark was not tempted by offers from their rivals and gave her the longest deal possible.
The hope is that the Iowa native’s popularity will spearhead a recovery that the company can use to lure the next generation of top athletes without having to worry about their competitors gaining ground. That can lead Nike back to dominance.
