These are the first few days in the adult life of Caitlin Clark, where she is not playing basketball. A strain in her left quad has sidelined her for at least two weeks, leaving fans with nothing more than a glimpse of the 23-year-old sitting courtside at Indiana Fever games in hoodies and jeans.

Fans have also seen how the reigning rookie of the year kept herself busy by babysitting her coach’s child and took on duties as the unofficial Fever camerawoman. However, fans also know that all that was her way of keeping a lid on her competitive drive.

Some fans avoided going to Fever games, knowing they would not get to watch their favorite player suit up. Earlier yesterday, they received some reprieve when the crew of Dude Perfect started releasing videos of the time they spent with Caitlin Clark.

A teaser had come out a few weeks back showing the point guard and Dude Perfect attempting one-handed shots from the stands. This time, they revealed how the Fever superstar managed to score some unreal buckets, overcoming some unheard of obstacles.

In one video, the 23-year-old wore a blindfold as she stood on the Butler Bulldogs logo. The idea was that she would stand at a spot of her choosing and wearing the blindfold, turn around, and shoot the ball. Clark went through her motions and drained the shot, much to the astonishment of the crew.

A second clip shows Clark and one of the podcast’s hosts standing in the stands behind the basket. They were at around the same distance as a regular three-point line would be. The Iowa alum took her position and calmly threw up a rainbow that touched nothing but the net.

Fans in awe at Caitlin Clark’s trick shots

College basketball and WNBA fans have a fair idea of how good Caitlin Clark is shooting from distance. Trick shots are a different dynamic, and only a select few, such as Steph Curry and Luka Doncic, make it a habit of not only practicing them but also giving the fans a show at every opportunity.

Clark is not like them and chooses to take shots only when she wants. That is why these trick shots stunned fans, as they could not believe she had the muscle memory, angle, and touch to sink them. Those shocked fans reacted to those clips with messages asking if the videos were real. Check out examples of those comments below.

Some might argue that Caitlin Clark might have practiced those shots numerous times before attempting one. They also believe that there is a chance that multiple recordings might have been merged to make these videos. However, none of them dispute the fact that the All-WNBA 1st teamer can make those shots even if it is after a few tries.

Caitlin Clark’s competitive fire on display at Fever game despite injury

Those videos with Dude Perfect are a few weeks old and were shot before Caitlin Clark started her sophomore season. When basketball season starts, she is dialled in. At the Indiana Fever game against the Connecticut Sun, she was dialed in, but in a different way as she was sitting courtside.

She was watching every facet of the game and particularly took offense when she believed the officials made mistakes. A clip shows her standing on the court with her arms outstretched. Clark seemed not to like a foul call on teammate Aliyah Boston.

Clark is seen allegedly yelling, ‘that’s not even close’ at the official. She then had her hands on her head in disbelief once she saw the replay. This shows that the Iowa native just cannot stop her competitive side, even if she is not playing.
