Caitlin Clark FORCES back-to-back champions Aces to move out of home arena
Caitlin Clark and her Indiana Fever have improved a lot since their last matchup against Las Vegas Aces.

Caitlin Clark forces back-to-back champions Las Vegas Aces to lease 18,000-seater T-Mobile Arena for tomorrow's clash
When this WNBA season started, many teams saw their arenas getting sold out whenever Caitlin Clark was in town. It could be the effect of her just coming into the league. Many fans outside of Iowa were lining up to purchase tickets and watch the 22-year-old who was blowing out college teams. However, now the Indiana Fever have played half their regular season games. But even then, the Las Vegas Aces were forced to move out of their home arena.
The Las Vegas Aces are the back-to-back WNBA champions. Naturally, they should be commanding the biggest crowds. Their home court, the Michelob Ultra Arena can seat 12,000. It was the arena when the Aces hosted the Fever in their 1st game. But it seems Clark is attracting many more fans, which helped the champions to sell out the 18,000-capacity T-Mobile Arena. They will surely recoup the leasing fees and make a pretty penny thanks to the No. 1 overall pick.

But for this to happen in the middle of the season is unprecedented. For instance, there have been instances before when the WNBA has sold out arenas or had record TV viewership. But it was a fly-in-the-pan moment.
20 games in, to still push a team to move to a different arena is unheard of. Add to that, Caitlin Clark has been continuing to push a massive increase in average television viewership. Suggesting that this newfound following is bound to continue.
Caitlin Clark to take on her best friend in tomorrow’s matchup
The last time the Las Vegas Aces and the Indiana Fever met, Caitlin Clark and her former Iowa teammate and best friend Kate Martin jumped into each other’s arms. They were meeting each other after more than a month apart. Something that did not happen over the past 4 years they were in college.
A memorable took place when Aces head coach Becky Hammon asked Martin to specifically guard her best friend. That game was also not competitive enough as the Indiana Fever were languishing after a multitude of losses. But this time it will be different. The Fever have recovered and just beat the Diana Taurasi-led Phoenix Mercury and sit with a commendable 8-12 record.
Therefore, for Caitlin Clark and her teammates, the game tomorrow against the Aces will be a proper test. A test that will show how far off are they from being a championship team. If Clark and the Fever put on a show, expect coach Hammon to assign Kate Martin to her former teammate again.
