“Kind person, honestly…” Caitlin Clark gives HILARIOUS response after getting guarded between free throws
Caitlin Clark had a career-high 30 points, five rebounds, and six assists.

Caitlin Clark's turnover rate might not be her fault after all
Caitlin Clark was involved in a strange interaction with Aari McDonald, a guard for the Los Angeles Sparks. The incident occurred after McDonald made a free throw, and then appeared to guard her when she had another free throw to make, which caused an internet frenzy.
However, Caitlin Clark has since spoken out to clarify the situation, as she stated that she believes McDonald was actually trying to encourage her, not taunt her. According to Clark, McDonald was unaware that she had another free throw remaining, which was a technical free throw, and was simply preparing to guard Clark on the ensuing inbound play.

I think she was just trying to pick me up. I don't think she had realized that she got another free throw because it was the technical free throw. I saw that, though. Kind person, honestly.Caitlin Clark said after the game:
Clark described McDonald as a “kind person” and stated that she doesn’t think there was any ill intent behind her actions. It seems that the two players have a good relationship and the incident was simply overplayed by fans and the media.
Despite the scrutiny McDonald received, Clark has confirmed that there is no bad blood between the two players. Clark understands the play and has cleared up the misunderstanding, showing that sometimes things are not always as they seem, and it’s important to get all the facts before jumping to conclusions.
