In the offseason, Caitlin Clark generally tends to balance a plethora of events she has to attend along with the time she spends with her family members.
The Indiana Fever superstar was last seen at Nike’s World headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, where she spent time with employees and played some games with them.
During the weekend, she makes it a point to spend it at home, either watching her alma mater, the Iowa Hawkeyes, or watching football, with the NFL playoffs in session.
This is the first time in a decade that Clark is not watching her beloved Kansas City Chiefs play in the postseason. Despite that, being the avid football fan that she is, the point guard was hooked on the Sunday Night thriller between the Los Angeles Rams and the Chicago Bears.
The bears are insane.

This was the 23-year-old’s tweet after witnessing quarterback Caleb Williams throw a pass off balance, and off his wrong foot. The ball dropped perfectly into tight end Cole Kmet‘s hands, who created enough space in the end zone to score a touchdown.
Chicago, what did I just watch???? Holy smokes

Just like everyone else watching this game, Caitlin Clark was left stunned by what she saw. As someone who knows how to throw a pass or two, the Iowa native understood what Williams had just done for his team, making something out of nothing to get the Bears back into the game.
Sophie Cunningham joins Caitlin Clark to watch Caleb Williams’ stunning pass
Caitlin Clark is not the lone football fan on her Indiana Fever team. Her teammate and close friend, Sophie Cunningham, happens to be from Missouri.

She is also a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and owing to her experience playing a little bit of football for her Missouri Tigers, the 29-year-old was also glued to her television to watch the Bears take on the Rams.
Chicago, what did I just watch???? Holy smokes.

This was the Fever guard’s reaction when she saw Caleb Williams heave the ball and bring his team back from the dead, and give them a fighting chance at winning the game.

Eventually, they did not, but at least that late-game surge kept Cunningham and football fans hooked. If anything, this means she will continue to catch the NFL playoffs until Super Bowl LX, which will be played on February 8th, in San Francisco.
Maybe with some finessing from their respective sponsors, Caitlin Clark and her veteran teammate could end up at Levi’s Stadium to catch the biggest game of the year.
Sophie Cunningham believes she and Caitlin Clark will not play this season
Sophie Cunningham and Caitlin Clark will try to enjoy these moments watching football and other sports before they start working out for their next season.
However, as per the former, there is a big chance that both guards, along with their WNBA peers, stay at home watching other sports, as she mentioned in her Show Me Something podcast.
Our CBA is so dumb right now, like it’s headed towards a lockout.
Sophie Cunningham said
The former second-round pick added that all they get are emails detailing what is going on with the negotiations. But most of them are things that do not really matter.

Cunningham is not convinced that the players’ union and the league’s top brass will agree. Her belief echoes what other players are also saying about how far apart both sides are. If this continues, it will be a while before either she or Caitlin Clark gets back on a WNBA court.
