Caitlin Clark’s ‘Michael Jordan’ effect on women’s basketball gets hyped during NBA game
Veteran announcer Mike Breen feels Caitlin Clark's impact on the WNBA is similar to what Michael Jordan had on the NBA.
Caitlin Clark is transforming the WNBA with her Michael Jordan effect
At a time when the NBA is struggling to generate viewers, basketball fans have found another outlet in the WNBA. Their first true superstar, Caitlin Clark, has managed to woo millions to their game. So much so that her impact is touted to be similar to what Michael Jordan did for the men’s game.
Coming from college, some had doubts if she could transition to a more physical style of play at the professional level. Initially, it took time, but coming out of the Olympics break, she was by far one of the best players in the league.
Her improvement stunned those who were skeptical earlier. As in, if she could have that much of an impact, play-wise and fan-follow-wise in her first year, women’s basketball will likely see a drastic change in its popularity. Her impact was summed up when veteran NBA announcer Mike Breen said this.
Mike Breen talked multiple times about Caitlin's impact on women's basketball during the Knicks vs Pacers broadcast. We need him to call a Fever game!

The legendary commentator has seen it all during his more than three decades in the league. He feels the Indiana Fever guard has the same impact Michael Jordan had on the NBA. That was enough to certify that the 22-year-old is a bonafide superstar.
Caitlin Clark helps Tyrese Haliburton and Pacers in distributing food to homeless people
Caitlin Clark has been in Indianapolis for the past few days. In those days, she was first seen at Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour concert. She also attended Pacers games, though her presence in her place of work had much more to do than just work.
The Indiana Pacers and Fever organizations combined with Tyrese Haliburton to organize the 27th year of a particular event. An event in which they served meals to the city’s homeless people. The post from the Fever’s official X account showed Clark along with her teammate Lexie Hull and an assistant coach all donning Pacers Cares t-shirts and handing out food.
