Eli Manning may be a two-time Super Bowl winner and boast a 16-year-long NFL career, but the former New York Giants quarterback lost out to his brother Peyton Manning in a popularity contest. The 44-year-old invited WNBA star Caitlin Clark to the latest episode of the Eli Manning Show, in which they spoke about various subjects.
From making a name for herself in basketball to witnessing her IOWA jersey being retired, Clark answered several questions. While they conversed, the pair engaged themselves in arcade games.
One of them was a mini basketball competition, in which Manning surprisingly won. Then they switched their attention to a circuit of mini golf. This is when the host of the show asked Clark to name her favorite NFL player of all time. Being a Kansas City Chiefs fan, it’s natural to perceive she would pick a former Chiefs player, but her answer surprised Eli Manning.

Later, Clark tried to do damage control by asking for a signed Eli Manning jersey.

Caitlin Clark also revealed her favorite basketball movie
Clark is surprisingly a movie buff. The Indiana Fever guard knows her pop culture references. One of the segments from Manning’s show was about revealing her favorite basketball movie of all time.
Manning asked Clark to choose between ‘Air Bud’ and ‘Like Mike,’ and the 23-year-old picked ‘Like Mike.’

Manning then asked Clark to choose between Michael Jordan starring in ‘Space Jam’ and the cult classic ‘Hoosiers.’ Manning was left eating his words once again with Clark’s response. Clark chose the former Chicago Bulls star’s Space Jam. According to her, she grew up watching Space Jam and connected with it more compared to Hoosiers.

Clark also shared her thoughts about the recent social media criticism she had to endure since transitioning from the college basketball scene to the WNBA. She nonchalantly denied being bothered by all the chatter and constantly being compared with Angel Reese.
