NFL will ask Caitlin Clark, Serena Williams and Eli Manning to help grow flag football

Caitlin Clark has done more than enough to bring the spotlight back onto women’s sports. Her exploits in college basketball and the WNBA have brought along a legion of new fans. But her influence does not stop with that as she has proved she can attract crowds anywhere she goes.

The most obvious example was when she took part in the Pro-Am golf tournament, The Annika. Ticket sales shot through the roof, and some likened her impact to what Tiger Woods once did in the same sport.

Her fan following was also evident when Caitlin Clark was at a Taylor Swift concert in Indianapolis. Instead of focusing on the Eras Tour, she had security to control the number of fans coming over to exchange friendship bracelets.

That and other signs such as whenever she speaks at an event have seemingly confirmed that the 23-year-old pulls crowds wherever she goes. Considering she has experience with it, Front Office Sports revealed how the NFL is looking to cash in on it.

(Caitlin) Clark will participate in the session for NFL team owners and personnel along with tennis icon Serena Williams, former Giants quarterback and current front-office staffer Eli Manning, and Broncos co-owner Mellody Hobson.

The NFL knows flag football can grow considering it can reach far and wide even more than their traditional league. This seems to be their agenda as they are looking to bring in Clark along with Serena Williams and Eli Manning to help grow the sport.

Caitlin Clark’s inputs could help flag football’s growth among women

Football as a sport is completely male dominated. Women do have a presence in the form of the X League, formerly known as Lingerie Football League or Legends Football League. But they primarily play tackle football and critics believe the league’s methods are questionable.

Flag football on the other hand enables the random player to come in and perform. The sport has expanded fast enough that there are teams from all across the world. It will gain a lot of coverage when it debuts in the 2028 Olympics.

However, before that happens, the NFL wants to speed up the growth of flag football. The men’s side is doing alright, but the women’s game has given indications that it can explode if the correct tactics are applied to help it grow.

Considering how Caitlin Clark has single-handedly impacted women’s basketball, she would be the perfect person to provide inputs. Serena Williams, another legend who has helped grow women’s lawn tennis can also help in the growth.

But where the Indiana Fever star sets herself apart is that she is from the current generation. Which means, she has a good grip of how the league can use social media, the game, as well as its players to boost its growth. She could make an impact on flag football from the sidelines.

Kelsey Plum trolls X page asking her about pressing Caitlin Clark at All-Star game

Caitlin Clark has her own set of detractors in the WNBA, with many considered to be jealous of her incredible fame. A’ja Wilson is known to be one of the most prominent ones in that list, but her former teammate Kelsey Plum is not. When an X page tried to trump up that narrative, Plum had an answer.

Dawg could have been CC, could have been my grandma. coaches made me pick up full court and deny the ball back, I tried (btw if you watched the Olympics/ world championships, when you play team USA, this is the style) k leave me alone bye.

The newest member of the Los Angeles Sparks is not one of those who despised Clark. Through her post, she made it clear that she was doing whatever the coaches wanted her to do. Instead, she is one of Clark’s friends in the WNBA. The video instead proves how much attention the Fever superstar demands.
