WATCH: ‘Jolly’ Caitlin Clark turns up to watch the US Olympic Swimming Trials with Fever teammates

The Indiana Fevers’ star player Caitlin Clark has been making headlines lately due to her recent antiques at Lucas Oil Stadium. On June 18, the Indiana Fever attended to watch the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials. The event is held at Lucas Oil Stadium, which is conveniently close to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home of the Fever.
For the trials, Lucas Oil Stadium was converted into three cutting-edge pools. In addition, while entering the stadium, one of Clark’s teammates challenged her to put her hand in one of the pools. Clark did not let her teammates down and stuck to the challenge. She leapt over the line to feel the water, then hurried back to her friends.
On Tuesday night, Clark and the Fever attended the finals of the women’s 100-meter backstroke and men’s 800-meter freestyle events. On the other hand, Clark and her side, the Fever have been gaining form in the WNBA as they have gathered a few wins recently. The Fever also saw a much better June, going 4-2 in the WNBA in June.
Also, there’s a great movement of support among the swimmers and the Indiana Fever. Seven-time gold medallist Katie Ledecky, who has already secured a berth for participation in her 4th Olympics during the summer, was seated courtside with her brother during the Fever’s 91-83 victory over the Chicago Sky.
Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are neck and neck in the Rookie of the Year rankings
One of the most important titles a young basketball player can win in the game is Rookie of the Year. Numerous players are vying for the Rookie of the Year title in the WNBA in 2024. However, Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky are two exceptional players who are fiercely competing for this title.
Clark’s very first season has seen her deliver amazing performances. In a late May game against the Sparks, Clark finished with 30 points, six rebounds, five assists, three steals, and three blocks. She scored 30 points, pulled down 8 rebounds, provided 6 assists, and pocketed 4 steals in a recent victory over the Mystics. Her stats through 15 games are also 16.1 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 6.2 apg, and 38.3% FG, leading the ROTY 2024 rankings as of yet.
However, Reese is not far behind Clark in the rankings as she has been a great asset to the Chicago Sky in offense and has been scoring for fun on her side. Reese has averaged 12.1 ppg, 10.2 RPG, 1.8 SPG, and 37.1% FG through 13 games played in the WNBA season.
