Caitlin Clark unlocking ‘dream shake’ and other moves during offseason has fans in awe: “League f***ed!”
WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark works out at Indiana Fever facilities in off season developing an array of moves.
Caitlin Clark works on mastering 'Dream Shake' at Indiana Fever practice
Several Indiana Fever players are playing basketball either overseas or with the Unrivaled league or in other basketball leagues such as Athletes Unlimited. Caitlin Clark on the other hand, is prioritizing rest after a grueling calendar year of basketball.
Along with rest, Caitlin Clark is enjoying a lot of things that she cannot do when the season is in progress. Her second love for golf saw her participate in The Annika Pro-Am tournament. Then she watched football game recently in Kansas City.
That game was on Saturday 19th at 4:30 p.m. ET. and fans saw her sitting alongside Taylor Swift. But as per the Philadelphia Inquirer, the now 23-year-old superstar was at the Fever practice facilities earlier in the morning.
Her dedication to working out during the offseason saw her arrive to train with assistant coach Keith Porter on her birthday, January 22nd. This level of dedication is unheard of. Usually, when athletes have such important occasions, they do not practice at their work, but Clark was there.
The Indiana Fever released a video showing their WNBA Rookie of the Year downing 50 out of 54 threes on her birthday. Impressive for someone who saw her efficiency from the three dip in her rookie season. But earlier today, the Fever released another video of her workout.

Some of the moves were similar to what new head coach Stephanie White and Porter taught her the first time around. This time, it seemed she was more comfortable with those moves, which could translate to an already difficult to stop repertoire. But then, in this video she was seen working on a famous move called the ‘Dream Shake’.
Fans lose their minds watching Caitlin Clark working on the ‘Dream Shake’
The move was created and mastered by Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon and is used a lot in the NBA. But a WNBA guard using it is unheard of. If used, Caitlin Clark can shake a defender off and score easily. Fans watching this and her working on other moves have been left shaking their heads.
They fear for the rest of the league as, if Clark continues working on these moves, she could become unstoppable next season. Fans took to social media to talk about it, examples of which are below.

I love how haters were like “why is she at the chiefs game on a Saturday with Taylor when she should be practicing”. Meanwhile she is in the gym nonstop – including her birthday.

It seems the Fever do not release all of their recordings of Caitlin Clark’s practices. They would keep some things a secret until the season starts. Who knows if White, Porter and the rest of the staff have already improved her defense. If so, and along with these moves, the league could be in for a surprise.
