Caitlin Clark's boyfriend trolled Indiana Fever listing her accomplishments from rookie WNBA season

Before Caitlin Clark came into the WNBA, some thought she will struggle playing against grown women. The great Diana Taurasi even suggested her stats were overblown playing against younger girls in college. But in her rookie season with the Indiana Fever, she went on to set numerous records.

The superstar ramped up her game after the post-Paris Olympics break and went on to stamp her authority as one of the best players in the game. She continued that stretch to set records such as multiple triple doubles as a rookie.

Then, she went on to set a new single game assist record, which further went on to help her set a new season record. These and other records kept tumbling both for her Indiana Fever as well as the WNBA. At one point, those performances bumped her up to the MVP race.

She finished her season by winning the Rookie of the Year award while also notching an All-WNBA 1st team berth. With that, she helped the Fever reach the playoffs for the first time in eight seasons, but eventually were swept by the Connecticut Sun.

To commemorate her efforts as a rookie, her team decided to list her achievements on their X account as part of the WNBA Rookies Week. It came to the attention of her boyfriend Connor McCaffery, who replied to the post with this.

Is that all???

His response was not a slight, rather, it was a troll considering one has to click the post to expand it to see all the achievements they have listed down. For a rookie to come into the WNBA and do all that is unheard of. Connor McCaffery’s troll suggested his girlfriend was doing it all.

Caitlin Clark lost favorite teammate in WNBA expansion draft

During Caitlin Clark‘s season assist record run, one of her teammates who received the ball in scoring positions was Temi Fagbenle. The center used her floor running abilities to catch her rookie teammates outlet passes and scored with ease.

Heading into the WNBA expansion draft for the Golden State Valkyries, Fagbenle was expected to be one of the six players the Indiana Fever protected. However, when the Valkyries called her name out, it was evident she was not. The center posted a message on Instagram thanking the Fever, to which Clark replied.

Love ya tem! Gonna miss you (heart emoji).

Her message showed how much the 22-year-old will miss her floor spacing. Now, Fagbenle will join Clark’s best friend Kate Martin at the Valkyries. It also shows that the Indiana Fever under Stephani White are looking to play in a different way.
