Indianapolis is hosting the 2025 WNBA All-Star weekend. That means Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever would be the center of attention, as the best of the best in the league come together to celebrate the biggest weekend of this season.

Since it was in their host city, all Fever players were able to attend the party after their All-Star teammates completed their orange carpet debuts, photo sessions, and interviews. Clark’s teammates arrived one by one and were greeted by the live stream hosted by StudBudz.

The pairing of Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman has gained considerable popularity. Their humor-filled live streams and candid conversations with fellow players have generated significant interest.

When selecting her All-Star teammates, Clark joked about missing the chance to be on the stream once Williams went to Napheesa Collier‘s squad. At the party, she got the opportunity as StudBudz introduced the reigning Rookie of the Year to their audience.

Later at the party, Hiedeman was walking around filming all the players when she again ran into Clark. This time, the Fever guard decided to bring in her younger brother, Colin Clark, onto the stream. After introducing himself, he said this into the microphone.

Fix the reffing WNBA, it’s bad though.

Colin Clark said

A clip of this video soon went viral as he was essentially blaming the questionable officiating for having an impact on his sister’s health. When he saw her crying in pain after re-injuring her groin, he directly blamed the officiating. Soon, he deleted the tweet, as he knew it would cause controversy.

Caitlin Clark’s aunts have epic time with StudBudz on live stream

The StudBudz live stream started when All-Star players started to arrive at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. When they first went up to the party area, only a few players had arrived. However, Caitlin Clark‘s extended family members were trying to enjoy what a player’s party was all about.

Other than her father, mother, and brothers, Clark also invited her aunts and some very close friends. Her aunts were some of the first to introduce themselves to StudBudz. They then clicked pictures with Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman.

It seems Clark wanted those close to them to be a part of these celebrations. She might not be participating in either the 3-point contest or the All-Star game, but wanted to take in as much as possible.

Caitlin Clark and WNBA peers struggling to get message across to team owners

The WNBA is bracing for a possible work stoppage next season if the players and their union do not agree to the next Collective Bargaining Agreement. They have a little over 100 days to come to a conclusion.

Otherwise, the players will be effectively sitting out until the owners and the league agree to their demands. Lockouts are not uncommon in sports. However, they do tend to pump the brakes on the growth that the league has been enjoying so far.

The players have been demanding that the league and team owners give them better working conditions, benefits, and, most importantly, their wages. They asked Caitlin Clark and several of the Indiana Fever stars to join a meeting before the orange carpet arrivals started.

Over 40 players attended the meeting. However, the WNBPA’s statement a few hours later indicates the meeting did not go as planned. They claimed that the league and its owners are still not close to coming to an agreement.

This could push the league and its players to have a few more meetings before the situation can be resolved. Else, there is a distinct possibility that Clark and her peers take matters into their own hands and do not play in 2026.
