Caleb Williams traded the snow-covered Soldier Field for the chilly atmosphere of the United Center to watch the Chicago Blackhawks face off against the Winnipeg Jets on Monday (January 19). The Bears quarterback was spotted wearing Blackhawks gear alongside Cubs star Pete Crow-Armstrong.
A few minutes into the game, the cameraman focused on a section of the bleachers and identified a pair of familiar faces. The crowd roared as the Williams and Armstrong appeared on the Jumbotron.
Williams accepted the hero’s welcome in his own style, even flashing the ‘iceman,’ which sparked an even louder cheer from the crowd.

Williams should make the most of his time by catching as many Blackhawks games as possible. He brought the winner’s luck with him, and it worked. Chicago ended its three-game losing streak by scoring two points against the team from Canada.
That being said, not everyone was thrilled to see Williams in the building. Less than a day had gone by since he tossed a careless interception that shattered the Chicago Bears’ hopes for their first NFC title appearance in two decades.
I’m sorry I don’t want my QB pulling up the next day after taking that L

Sure, the Bears’ season ended on a disappointing note, but that doesn’t dictate how one should live their life outside of football. And it’s not as if he left the state to watch the game. Passionate fans must understand that athletes also have lives and preferences.
Analyst makes bold prediction about Caleb Williams
When the Bears hired Ben Johnson, fans expected a quick turnaround in form. Their hunch came true. Williams already possessed the necessary tools required for a top quarterback, he just needed the right mentor to unleash his full potential.

Johnson fit into that role perfectly. Sure, there were hiccups along the way. Williams struggled to make plays during the first three quarters of a match nearly every week. And as a result, he had to play catch-up in the final quarter.
However, fans witnessed some of the best plays by a quarterback in that 15-minute span. Williams had seven game-winning drives. He almost always found ways to win when the game was on the line. For instance, the Bears recorded a come from behind victory against the Packers in the wildcard round after Williams threw two late touchdowns.
A week later, he forced the divisional fixture against the Rams to overtime with a jaw-dropping touchdown pass to tight end Cole Kmet in garbage time. Former NFL player Harry Douglas confidently stated that Williams is destined to become an NFL MVP.
For 2026, Caleb Williams will be MVP of the NFL.

Bears offensive tackle Darnell Wright, whose future in Chicago next season is uncertain, said that Williams is the best quarterback he’s ever had the pleasure of playing alongside.
He was great. There were games where he single-handedly won us the game. He’s the best quarterback I’ve ever played with, for sure. I’m happy he’s going to be my quarterback next year.
Darnell Wright said (H/T: Bears official transcript)
Williams finished the 2025 campaign with 3942 yards, 30 total touchdowns and 7 interceptions. In the post season, he threw for 618 yards, 3 touchdowns and 5 picks.
