Caleb Williams might be known for his offensive and strategic plays on the football field, but he has built an entirely opposite reputation off-field as his gentle nature locks many hearts. Something similar happened at the Chicago Bears preseason game, where the rookie quarterback won many hearts after hugging an adorable little girl.

While wandering on the field on Thursday night, when Willaims passed by the audience booth, he noticed a little fan signaling to him. The most adorable part about the night was that the little girl was sporting jersey no. 18– which is Williams’. Noticing the fan’s sheer excitement after being recognized, the former USC standout leaned in over the railing to give her a warm hug.

While Williams’ soft nature is being praised by the fans, it wasn’t long ago when he came under their intense scrutiny for wearing a nail paint. Given, that the rookie’s fashion choices became victim to patriarchal norms several times. But he, as well, isn’t afraid of a good challenge and that’s why he asserted that he will continue wearing nail paint throughout the decision.

I will not do that [write curse or swear words]. Roger Goodell would have something to say. I'm trying to keep good-spirited things on my nails.
