It took him 5 weeks but Caleb Williams has arrived. The first overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft proved his mettle with a stellar performance against the Carolina Panthers. The Chicago Bears got a different quarterback today as this version of Williams was one which fans had not seen in the first four weeks of the season.
The quarterback remained consistent throughout the night. From the first snap to the final moments of the game, Caleb Williams finished the game with 268 yards and 2 touchdowns with no turnovers. His growth since the first week has been immense.
In the first six quarters of playing in the NFL, Caleb Williams converted 53/93 passes for 486 yards, 0 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. In his last six quarters, he has thrown 34/48 passes for 301 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Looks like the Bears are getting the quarterback they were promised.

Caleb Williams has developed remarkable chemistry with DJ Moore
Tonight was a special game for Williams but it had sentimental value to one of his teammates, DJ Moore. The wide receiver was playing against the Carolina Panthers – the team that traded him to Chicago. This was personal for him and he showed up seeking vengeance tonight.

DJ Moore connected with Caleb Williams on two touchdowns. The wideout had 103 yards on 4 receptions. The first touchdown came in the first quarter, it was a 34-yard pass thrown by Williams right to Moore in the endzone. But it was perhaps the second touchdown which came late in the second quarter that was jaw-dropping as it featured an accurate pass and an amazing catch by the wideout.
The Chicago Bears beat the Carolina Panthers 36-10. It was a rough day for Andy Dalton, who ended up with 1 interception and 110 yards passing. The highlight remains a strong performance from Caleb Williams, after his initial struggles of coping with the pace of the NFL, the game appears to be slowing down for him.
