Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Requires 250 GB storage to Launch at 4K

Don’t put your expectations on this year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for taking the space of harddrive. This game takes even more than that of last year. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will require just as much storage, if not more, when it launches on Nov. 13

Activision and Treyarch launched Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s minimum and recommended hardware specifications. Their specs show that it would require about 175 GB of storage space, if one wants to experience the inclusiveness of this year’s COD. It takes much less like 50 GB ,if one wants to play a multiplayer mode game. The storage space of 175 GB is required for all modes of Black Ops Cold War.

Activision Launches Minimum Specs for COD: Black Ops Cold War

For users with the burliest of PCs in their hands can play Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War with 4K detailed textures. But, apparently it would swallow up 250 GB of storage space.

Black Ops Cold War’s storage footprint is equal to last year’s game. Last year’s Modern Warfare also needed a minimum of 175 GB. But it wasn’t until lately that PC gamers had the choice to uninstall game modes they hadn’t chosen to play with. That meant that storage space of over 200 GB is chartered for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, a storage difficulty that seems to carry on to move with this year’s game too.
