Callum Hudson Odoi gaining confidence at Chelsea

Chelsea winger Callum Hudson Odoi is staying at the club this season. The English forward was linked with a move to German Champions Bayern Munich. However that deal didn’t go through and Odoi looks set on staying.

The Chelsea academy product is one of the most exciting projects. Hudson Odoi found his big break during Sarri’s reign at Chelsea. But some fans may say that he’s yet to get into his full stride.

I wanted to have a good start just so that, as the season’s going on, you feel more confident,’ he said.

‘I thought to myself that I need to score more goals, get more assists and I need to work hard for the team in general, just so we can win as many games as possible.

‘It was an individual thing of saying to myself, “Give it your all in training, give it your all in matches and then, hopefully, the goals and assists will come as well.”’

Chelsea have a host of attacking options this season. With Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech set to make comebacks; it will be difficult for Odoi to find playing time. However given his talent he can definitely step up and give stellar performances.
