Former Carolina Panthers quarterback once again hit the headlines, but this time, not for any of his snarky comments or the ongoing beef with media veteran Skip Bayless. It was about a wholesome moment caught on camera, where Cam Newton can be seen having the time of his life with little children. 

Apart from Newton’s off-field activities, no one can deny his ability as a quarterback given his NFL leader record in rushing touchdowns and rushing yards. Recalling his golden days in the NFL, the former New England Patriots quarterback blessed a few kids with a once-in-a-lifetime experience by catching the football with them.

Kyle Boone of CBS Sports captured the wholesome moment, where Newton can be seen walking outside of his hotel’s play area when he spotted some children playing his sport. To add a little bit of flavor to their game, he decided to join them in throwing the ball.

This selfless act by the former NFL quarterback has been very well received on social media by NFL fans. They mostly get to see Newton as a brutal critique given the whole controversy surrounding the ‘game-manager’ tag he gave to many prominent quarterbacks in the league. But in this video, fans get to see a different sight of the star quarterback– something he doesn’t like to flaunt in public. 

Cam Newton’s conditions in Skip Bayless’ three-point challenge

Interestingly, his outside sports day with little kids happened just a few days after his not-so-subtle feud with Bayless became public knowledge. The whole thing started with an open challenge by Bayless on his show, The Skip Bayless Show, for a three-point contest.

But in no time, it transformed from a simple challenge to threatening to take each other’s job. When Bayless challenged Newton, he instantly agreed but asked for certain conditions to be fulfilled. 

Their feud has been escalating with horse speed, as the ESPN analyst shared a video of himself shooting threes, but it hardly affected Newton. He wasn’t impressed saying Bayless didn’t have any pressure or distraction while aiming for the threes and also, the video could be edited. Although the media veteran is mainly focusing on the challenge, Newton decided to take some advantage. Hence, his conditions!
