- Newton's remarks went viral, drawing attention on social media and sparking widespread outrage.
Cam Newton is back under the scanner once again for passing questionable judgment on women while appearing on the It’s Giving podcast hosted by Sarah Fontenot. Newton, without much hesitation, declared that women lose their value after giving birth to multiple children.
Newton is infamous for his unfiltered takes. From labeling Super Bowl finalists Brock Purdy and Drake Maye as “game managers” to physically confronting the Alabama mascot, Cam Newton has consistently made headlines for controversial reasons over the past year.
This week, the former Carolina Panthers quarterback is trending for his comments about women. Newton said on the “It’s Giving” Podcast:
Women’s value gets lower the more children that they have.
Yikes: Cam Newton who has 9 children with 3 different baby mamas says a woman’s value decreases with the more children she has.

It brings back memories of Harrison Butker advising freshly graduated female students to choose the traditional/conservative way of life rather than taking jobs in the corporate world. The Chiefs’ All-Pro kicker faced tremendous backlash for his views, but he refused to go back on his words.
Cam Newton’s statement on women angers folks on social media
Newton’s words on women went viral right after clips of the interview were uploaded to Twitter and other social media platforms. Those who watched it were quick to point out that Newton had children with multiple women.

The 36-year-old former Super Bowl MVP has four children with ex-fiancée Kia Proctor, who further has a child from a previous relationship. Moreover, Newton has two children with ex LaReina Shaw and two children with his current girlfriend, Jasmin Brown.
Says the man with nine children and three baby mamas, proving that for some, irony isn't just a concept, it's a complete blind spot.

This was one of the many times Newton had given blunt replies when talking about women. In an episode of his own program “Funky Friday,” Newton stated that he does not pursue relationships with people of the opposite gender in order to maintain friendships.
I’m not about to be around no woman platonically. Because I’m not about to play them type of games. I don’t have no attractive woman that I’m cool with that I do not have plans on stabbing.
𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: Cam Newton says it’s IMPOSSIBLE to have platonic friendships with women without wanting more.

Newton hasn’t officially retired from football yet. That said, he has not thrown a football in the NFL since 2021. He has been on the hunt for a team to give him a chance, like Philip Rivers did, but the teams continue to give him the cold shoulder.
Newton, a Florida graduate and first overall pick, played 148 games in the league. He racked up 32,282 yards, 194 touchdowns, and 123 interceptions along with 5628 yards on the ground and 75 touchdowns.
