A couple of days ago, former NXT North American Champion Cameron Grimes got released from his WWE contract. And he was in shambles while publicly breaking the news on X. Recently, he was interviewed on Busted Open Radio, hosted by Dave LaGreca and Tommy Dreamer. Grimes went on to reveal that Logan Paul reached out to him after he was axed.

The 30-year-old said that it might sound weird as Paul would’ve had no business in mollifying him given the level of stardom he oozes. Cameron then asserted that The Maverick helped him feel good at a time when he was in such a fix. The two never got to share the ring in WWE. One might wonder how the former Million Dollar Champion must’ve fared with Logan.

There’s a whole new revelation Grimes made that’s enough to bewilder anyone. The former SmackDown star said that he was told by a WWE higher-up last Friday that he’d always have a job over there. It didn’t augur well at all as Cameron Grimes ended up on the chopping block almost immediately. As the fans saw, a teary-eyed Grimes was in doldrums after he had been cut.

This is gonna sound weird because the level of star he is, but Logan Paul actually reached out to me, and I thought that was pretty cool because he's a megastar really, even beyond wrestling.

The Carolina Caveman affirmed that despite the setback, a fire had been lit under him. It would be interesting to see where he ends up next. Meanwhile, Logan Paul returns to Raw this week. He’d be making an appearance on the night 2 of WWE Draft in Kansas City.

By the virtue of recently dispensed rules, the champions on each brand are protected. If that mean something, the boxer-turned-wrestler isn’t heading over to the Adam Pearce-administered territory.

Logan Paul politely addressed Ronda Rousey’s comments centered around him

Not that long ago, Ronda Rousey called out WWE for not treating her the same way as Logan Paul. The former UFC ace accused her former workplace for not giving her enough time to rehearse her stuff.

The laser-guided comments didn’t go unnoticed by Logan. He responded to Rousey’s claims by saying that he doesn’t think she’s a hater. Paul was under the belief that Ronda might’ve been satisfied with the laurels she brought about in WWE.

The United States Champion said he isn’t cognizant of anything beyond what Rousey stated. He affirmed on honing his own craft every time he gets a call for his next match. Paul last competed at WrestleMania XL where he successfully defended his title against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens in a triple threat match.
