“Fury is gonna win!” Canelo Alvarez makes a bold prediction ahead of the undisputed heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk

Saul Canelo Alvarez predicts that Tyson Fury will win his fight against Oleksandr Usyk on May 18. Alvarez, the reigning undisputed middleweight champion, knows what it takes to unify all the titles in his division. As such, he did just that in 2021 and has defended his title ever since. Hence, his opinion holds a lot of credibility, and his prediction is quite intriguing.
After Fury’s performance against Francis Ngannou, his boxing skills have come under question. This is because he had a subpar performance against the former UFC heavyweight champion during his boxing debut. Hence, the undefeated WBC heavyweight champion is currently the underdog in his upcoming fights. However, despite the odds, Alvarez is quite confident that the Gypsy King will emerge victorious.

Hence, the Mexican boxing superstar believes Fury has what it takes to give Usyk his first professional loss while maintaining his undefeated record. Furthermore, he did not undermine Usyk’s skills and also spoke about his victories over Anthony Joshua.
However, even after defeating the former champion, Alvarez believes he won’t be able to replicate his success against Fury. Canelo also justified his stance by bringing up Fury’s size and reach advantage since he is 6 feet and 9 inches tall. Hence, Alvarez believes the Gypsy King will be the first undisputed heavyweight after 1999.
Eddie Hearn predicts Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk
As the fight draws near, several predictions are being made for the upcoming bout. As such, for the third time, Eddie Hearn has given his verdict on who he believes will be the victor in the heavyweight clash between Fury and Usyk on May 18. Furthermore, Hearn did not think that Fury could win against the Ukrainian.
This is mainly because of his last performance against Ngannou. In addition, Usyk had managed to defeat Joshua twice and take away his belts. However, Hearn has now changed his mind after witnessing the transformation that Fury has undergone.
Hence, since Fury is in incredible physical shape, he appears to be ready for his next fight, unlike his last performance. Furthermore, Hearn also agrees with Alvarez that Tyson Fury will emerge victorious because of his size advantage.
