“Can’t count out Stephen Curry” – Kanye West draws parallels between Drake and Warriors star after Drake beef
Kanye Yest made an intruiging admission regarding the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, involving Stephen Curry.
Stephen Curry, Kanye West and Drake
Either in music or on the basketball court, Drake, the well-known rapper, singer, and producer, is not unfamiliar with controversy. Notably, over the last year, Drake was involved in a huge feud with Kendrick Lamar. This rap beef was resolved through a series of diss tracks they let out on each other. Notably, this led to another popular USA rapper, Kanye West letting out his opinions.
Kanye West also known as “Ye” made his intentions clear the Drake and Lamar beef. Before that, many fans claimed that Lamar won the ongoing feud between the two rappers. However, West had a different view of this. He compared Drake’s situation to that of Golden State Warriors star man, Stephen Curry, stating one can never count out the Canadian rapper just like the Warriors star on the court.

While expressing his support for Lamar, West also acknowledged that Drake could still recover and produce a comeback. Aside from this, Drake and NBA star LeBron James had a public falling out. According to reports, the two were formerly good friends, but their relationship worsened when Lebron James seemed to support Lamar in his continuing conflict with Drake.
On the other hand, Drake and Curry share a deep bond, with the Warriors star choosing Drake over Lamar several times. Curry also claimed once during the 2024 Paris Olympics that ‘he hates’ Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ diss track toward Drake. As for James, it is vice versa. It remains to be seen now whether or not the Canadian will provide the music industry with a comeback in the future.
Stephen Curry is a ‘big Drake guy’ snubbing Kendrick Lamar in ongoing beef
Last year, a lot of chaos went down between rapper Kendrick Lamar and Drake. This led to many NBA stars picking sides, but not publicly admitting to it. However, Golden State Warriors star, Stephen Curry did not bother to open up on this. While most of the NBA stars sided with Lamar, Curry chose his long-time friend, Drizzy in an interview.

Furthermore, Drake already honored Curry in his song “0 to 100 / The Catch-Up.” However, several NBA players have already made their choice. At Kendrick Lamar’s “Pop Out” concert on Juneteenth, Los Angeles natives Russell Westbrook and DeMar DeRozan were on stage, while LeBron James was seen in the audience.
