UFC fighter Kevin Holland, formerly middleweight but now fighting at welterweight, as always, is all enthusiastic about his upcoming fight at UFC 272 against Alex Oliveira. Holland shot to fame in 2020 when he won five fights back to back starting from the onset of the pandemic and won four of them via knockouts. But 2021 didn’t favour Holland for the fun time he was having in the Octagon, as he was badly exposed on the ground by higher-level fighters, including a former title challenger.

Now Holland, whose biggest victory came in his last win against MMA Legend Ronaldo Souza when he knocked Souza off his back, has worked for the better on his ground game and his overall grappling skills. Regardless, don’t let the amazing striker in Holland deceive you for he already has 5 submission wins in his overall MMA career.

Ahead of his fight in March at UFC 272 against longtime UFC fighter, welterweight Alex Oliveira, Holland stops by ESPN Correspondent Marc Raimondi to talk about his infamous confrontation with a troll and his fighting career in general as well.

On being asked if the welterweight division is the future and he would keep fighting at a lower weight class than his previous one as of now, Holland instantly responded “Heck no! I can’t keep doing this! I can’t keep living my life like this and not drinking and not having fun, you know what I mean. Who wants to be an athlete, who wants to be a professional athlete? ME? Yeah, I probably do this 70s thing while I can make it all.”
