“The Italian Dream” Marvin Vettori is looking to smash Darren Till next year, as he took to Twitter to claim that he couldn’t wait to smash Darren Till’s mouth. The 27-year old Italian is currently the number 5 ranked middleweight contender and his recent bloodbath victory against Jack Hermansson (fight of the night) has given him the much needed to confidence to climb up the middleweight ladder.

In his latest tweet, Marvin Vettori also asked Darren Till to enjoy Christmas, before he smashes his ‘mouth’ next year. Given that Darren Till’s Twitter account doesn’t exist anymore, it will be interesting to see how the Scouse responds to this.

He even gave unbeaten MMA star and middleweight king Israel Adesanya a run for his money, where the Nigerian won only via. a split decision. Ever since his loss to Adesanya, Vettori has found his feet and recorded four consecutive victories, thereby staying unbeaten for quite a long time.

Darren Till, on the other hand, was taking a similar route, of not being knocked out, in fact the Scouse never tasted defeat until his confidence was shattered by back to back losses against Tyron Woodley and BMF Jorge Masvidal. He then came back with a hard fought victory over Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 244, only to be pegged back earlier this year, due to a loss against Robert Whittaker.
