Cardi B became one of the New England Patriots’ most vocal supporters ever since her relationship with their leading wide receiver Stefon Diggs became public knowledge.
The rapper and the wideout share a son and are strong in love, which is the reason the New York native switched loyalties to support the Massachusetts-based team. She has been seen with owner Robert Kraft and at Patriots’ home games, even though she was well into her pregnancy or had just given birth to her fourth child.
However, when the time came for Diggs and his team to play the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round, the Grammy Award-winning rapper was not in New England.
That, however, did not mean that the musical artist was not keeping tabs on what was happening. After her boyfriend’s team forced CJ Stroud into turnovers and won the game, the 33-year-old took to social media to remind a group of people about something.
What are y’all talking about… Nothing, nothing!!!
Cardi B yelled
She added this caption on X along with that video:
THEY DIDN’T BELIEVE IN US !!! I LIKE US!!!!! WE ALL WE GOT!!!!! WE ALL WE NEED !!!!
This was the ‘Bodak Yellow’ artist’s response to ESPN’s NFL Live crew of Mina Kimes, Ryan Clark, Hannah Storm, Dan Orlovsky, and Marcus Spears, who unanimously picked the Houston Texans to win the game.

In their defense, some members of the cast did claim that they had picked the Patriots, but Cardi B just went with the network’s intent on undermining her boyfriend’s team.
Stefon Diggs echoes Cardi B’s response to ESPN
Cardi B was not the only one who took offense at ESPN’s analysts unanimously not picking the New England Patriots to win the AFC Divisional round. It seems her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, and his teammates echoed that sentiment, too.

I think we one of those teams that play better with a chip on our shoulder. When everybody kind of counted us out. I think it was a handful of commentators and people… They all picked Houston to win.
Stefon Diggs told reporters
The pass catcher’s response seems to indicate that the New England Patriots used that unanimous prediction as fuel to motivate them against the Texans.
Stefon Diggs said he saw everyone pick Houston to win:

Diggs, as well as his head coach, who is also known to use such instances to motivate the team, saw that they were being branded as underdogs despite their league-leading record, and used it to cause a major upset.
Now, they head into the AFC Championship game as favorites, as the Denver Broncos will be without starting quarterback Bo Nix, whose season ended in the final few minutes of their Divisional round win.
Stefon Diggs held up OJ Simpson’s hands after touchdown grab
Stefon Diggs was not Drake Maye‘s best receiver in this Divisional Round clash. However, when called upon, the Patriots’ QB knew he could rely on his star wideout whenever he wanted a sure-shot contested catch.
One such opportunity came late in the second quarter. On a 1st-&-goal, Drake Maye dropped back and noticed that the Texans had covered all his receivers well.
At the same time, he saw Stefon Diggs get a step on his defender and threw a dart that was moving away from the receiver’s body. The Maryland native reached out with both hands to catch the pass and held on to the ball as a help defender came over to tackle him.

After performing a ‘questionable’ celebration, Diggs threw up his hands, similar to how the infamous OJ Simpson did in court during his trial. That was to show that even he might be surprised by what his hands could do.
