Rapper Cam’ron did his best to build the same kind of connection with his partner that Stefon Diggs shares with Cardi B. That’s easier said than done, since the “Wap” singer doesn’t mind Diggs having several other baby mamas besides her.

Cam made his intentions clear while discussing the nature of Diggs and Cardi’s relationship with Mase and former NFL player Maurice Clarett on a recent episode of the It Is What It Is podcast.

I’m disappointed about it for myself, actually… Everyone [is] getting along, and it’s babies coming after babies all in the same year, and nobody’s mad. Cardi’s even welcoming it. Cardi’s like, ‘Are we gonna have another one on the way?’.

Cam’ron vented

Cardi birthed three kids with rapper Offset before their very public separation in 2024. She found refuge in Diggs’ comfort, and she welcomed a baby boy with the Patriots’ wide receiver near the end of last year.

Diggs, on the other hand, has fathered six children, including a baby boy with the “I Like It” hit maker. After Page Six did some digging, the gossip column uncovered the names of his former partners. In 2016, a year after the Vikings drafted him, Diggs welcomed his first child with his ex-girlfriend, Tyler-Marie.

His family started to grow after three separate women came forward claiming they had given birth to Diggs’ children. Paternity tests confirmed the claims made by Lord Giselle (Aileen Lopera), Cay, and Giselle. Diggs embraced them as his own and was believed to have welcomed another baby boy in 2025 before publicly announcing his romance with Cardi.

I told one of my chicks the other day, like, ‘If Cardi B could handle it, who are you to be questioning me about somebody else if Cardi B is accepting another three or four children on the way.’ The fact that he has this organized and all situated, that’s the bigger props. I’m more in awe of that. If it’s good enough for Cardi B, none of y’all say nothing to me.

Cam’ron ranted

It hasn’t been easy for Diggs and Cardi, especially for the Grammy winner. A section of her fans turned on her for getting pregnant soon after leaving her ex-husband. The backlash died down after she took a stand. Shortly after celebrating her child’s one-year birthday, Cardi uploaded a fiery video on X addressed to her fans.

Y’all [have] been dragging me for three or four days, and y’all have been a little too mean. I can’t change s***. I can’t go back in time. I already had a baby. Y’all want me to put my baby back in my p***? You want me to leave my man and f*** yours? What y’all want me to do? We can only go forward now.

Her harsh words worked like a charm. Since then, the Patriots went on to knock out the Chargers, Texans, and the Broncos to qualify for the Super Bowl.

Cardi was present when Diggs and the Patriots took down the Broncos in Denver over the weekend. After the final whistle, the 32-year-old rushed to her man’s side and gave him a kiss that instantly went viral.

She was understandably over the moon with the outcome. Her cheerful side came out while chatting with the NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe. Sports center posted a video showing Cardi shouting, “We are going to the Super Bowl.”

However, it wasn’t as grand as the league’s other heavyweight couple, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. Instead of viewing the two demographics through the black-and-white lens of racism, Mase saw it as a practical approach by the NFL.

They’re looking at it like this one is cleaner, this one is not. This one is White, this one is not. This one seems to be monogamy; this one is, like, three or four baby mothers. It’s like this is not gonna help us.

Mase said

From Cam’s point of view, Black people tend to tackle situations differently than White people.

Imagine if Taylor Swift were on the field at any of these games? It’s different cultures as well… If Cardi B is ever on the field, they’re gonna run up to her with a microphone. That’s just the way it goes.

Cam pointed out

Cam made a small mistake in his observation. Swift joined Kelce and the Chiefs on the field a few times. Cameras captured the couple sharing intimate moments after the Chiefs won the AFC Championship and the Super Bowl in 2024. A year later, fans saw her in a similar avatar after the Chiefs wrapped up another conference title.

Swift has also attended several Chiefs games since entering into a romantic relationship with the All-Pro tight end midway through 2023. The pair got engaged last year and plan to tie the knot in the upcoming offseason.
