The NFL Wild Card rounds will kick off this weekend with football fans waiting to watch their teams try and move to the next stage. For the Los Angeles Rams, the LA Wildfires situation has given them some trouble as, above all, they have to relocate to the home of the Arizona Cardinals to play.

In addition, they would seemingly lose home field advantage as their city is struggling with air quality issues arising from the fires. On top of that, the Rams have to move a lot of people to Arizona prior to the game.

With logistics of this magnitude, additional help is needed to ensure the team does not struggle. That saw the Cardinals take an extra step to help their divisional rivals feel at home. ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed how they are helping the Los Angeles Rams in these difficult times.

The Cardinals are sending two of the team’s 777 planes to Los Angeles this afternoon, picking up the Rams team, its staff, their families, six dogs and two cats — yes, six dogs and two cats, per an official — and bringing them to Arizona tonight. Cardinals are turning over their training facility for the evacuated Rams to use in advance of their Monday night game vs. the Vikings at State Farm Stadium.

This gesture from the Arizona Cardinals will help the Rams turn State Farm Stadium into a home venue. Using those 560 plus seats to fly in their families, pets and extra staff means they will nearly have that support a home team enjoys.

Wild Card teams sending $5 million to LA Wildfires efforts

With nearly 200,000 people displaced from their homes and more than 5,000 structures destroyed, the people of Los Angeles have lost a lot due to these LA Wildfires. Adam Schefter revealed how Wild Card bound teams are doing their bit.

NFL family is providing $5 million to support communities affected by the wildfires in the greater Los Angeles region. Led by individual contributions from clubs and ownership groups from the Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans and NFL Foundation, these funds will deliver vital resources to local organizations supporting those affected by the wildfires.

This gesture from the two Los Angeles based teams and their Wild Card opponents is a great start. Every dollar counts as the community has to start working its way back to rebuilding the city. Sports teams and personalities are leading the way to help those affected restart their lives.

The Los Angeles Rams will take on the Minnesota Vikings on Monday 13th, as the final Wild Card game. Sports is said to bring people together. Therefore, a lot will be riding on them to give those affected some semblance of excitement.
