In times of crisis, the Arizona Cardinals have once again come through with their generous efforts to make the upcoming Wild-Card game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Los Angeles Rams. However, an unusual analogy comparing ticket demand to that of pop icon Taylor Swift’s concert ticket has gathered significant attention.

While keeping every contingency in mind, the Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill went above and beyond to make sure the Rams feel at home at State Farm Stadium after they had to leave SoFi Stadium due to Los Angeles wildfires. During a conversation with NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Bidwill shared something that really impressed him while organizing the thrilling playoffs matchup.

The ticket sales for the game have rapidly increased even though it was among the highest priced for the wild-card game of the postseason. The overwhelming demand for tickets left the Cardinals owner feeling as though he was hosting a Swift concert, as such levels of interest are rarely seen for neutral-site matchups.

The decision to host the game at State Farm Stadium was made swiftly in response to wildfires threatening the Los Angeles area. That’s why, Bidwill has even offered the Rams to stay in Arizona if going back home becomes tough for them until the wildfire is controlled.

It’s always a good time to do the right thing. If we can do something to help … maybe this is the only thing we can do. Let’s put our energy into it and try to focus on it and make it a great experience, whether it’s the players, their families or the coaches.

The Cardinals have worked diligently to accommodate the Rams and their fans, from ordering food for 6,000 fans to painting the entire field in blue and golden to replicate the SoFi stadium as the Rams are hosting the Vikings.
