The match was a highly intense one, with the tension being felt even more on the sidelines.
Carlo Ancelotti was left agitated at the rival bench for their antics that followed Raphinha’s 84th minute goal. A heated altercation took place, with Ancelotti sharing some serious words with his counterpart, Hansi Flick.

The Italian complained that the rival bench, led by Flick’s assistant Marcus Sorg, had crossed over the technical area to come up to Madrid’s space. Speaking after the match, Ancelotti clarified that he did not have any problems with the Flick but added that a Barca assistant was not behaving like a ’gentleman’.
Something happened with the assistant coach, not with Flick. He was not a gentleman when celebrating in front of the bench. I told Flick and he agreed.
