While Nadal decided to skip Wimbledon and remain on clay to train for the Olympics, Alcaraz defended his title at the Championships before heading back to Paris, where he met up with Nadal. They clicked a couple of pictures together and even scheduled their first practice session together. Alcaraz recently posted one of those pictures with a caption that translated to him asking for a name for the Alcaraz-Nadal duo.

I'm new, I'm the rookie here, so I have to keep my mouth shut and just listen to him.

On the other hand, Nadal recently got off a loss at the Nordea Open final. It was his first final in over two years and lost a tough match against Nuno Borges. Nonetheless, it was a significant improvement given that he returned from injury this year.

The Olympics will begin in a couple of days with the first round of the tennis matches commencing on Saturday (July 27th). The schedule will be out on Thursday (July 25th) and then the fixtures will be more clear for the fans.
