Carlos Alcaraz is one of the most athletic tennis players in the world. The 21-year-old is known for his agility and strength. His thunderous forehands often mesmerize viewers.
Looking at his game, many might feel that the Spaniard must follow a strict diet like Novak Djokovic. However, that is not the case Alcaraz has outrightly denied following a strict diet every day.
Instead, the 21-year-old has claimed that he only has a set menu that he follows during tournaments. On the off days, Alcaraz enjoys his usual food, takes it easy, and stops eating what his set menu says.

Interestingly, this claim from Alcaraz contradicts the reports from earlier in June this year. It was reported that the World No. 2 has taken a cue from Novak Djokovic‘s gluten-free diet and follows it to heart even when he is away from the tour.
Carlos Alcaraz states his love for sushi and hamburgers
While he follows a strict diet during tournaments, Carlos Alcaraz loves eating hamburgers when he is not playing. The Spaniard, back in 2022, had expressed his fondness for different cuisines. Alcaraz had claimed that he loves fish more than meat.
Also, the youngster, when asked if he had any guilty pleasures, picked sushi and hamburgers. Alcaraz claimed that he also likes Kebabs.
The four-time Grand Slam champion is a foodie by heart and he has already admitted to it. Alcaraz has also tried his hands at cooking. He claims to know the basics of cooking dishes like pasta and tortillas. However, the youngster stated that he would like to cook his guests a good baked fish.
“Salt-baked seabass” with “roasted potatoes” would be a good dinner, according to Alcaraz. The ATP ace admitted that he is not too good at cooking yet, but he is eager to learn the skill so that it comes in handy when he is alone.
