The French Open Finals could not have been better, as two ATP stars gave it their all for the ultimate title in Paris. Carlos Alcaraz was up against Alexander Zverev in an exciting 5-setter. Even though both players were struggling with their form, they gave it their all and thoroughly entertained the audience.
Having started the game by exchanging breaks, Alcaraz was the first to capitalize and converted another break in his favor to eventually win the first set. However, Alexander Zverev asserted his dominance in the next set to equal it. Both the players were fighting it out on the field. While Zverev kept on mounting on his double faults, Alcaraz also had many unforced errors and even struggled physically.

Nevertheless, the players forced a fifth set out of the finals and broke each other time and again to give themselves a chance. Alcaraz, who was very formal with his shots, shifted gears and hit lesser fancy shots, but Zverev focused on his service and held his service.
Unfortunately, another Grand Slam final opportunity left Zverev, who could not capitalize on his lead as he lost to Alcaraz 3-6, 6-2, 7-5, 1-6, 2-6. With that, Alcaraz continued the Spanish dominance in Paris and won his maiden slam on clay.
