Top ATP stars have returned with reactions to iconic tennis moments in history. The ATP recently released another video showcasing their reactions to some of the best shots from the Rolex Monte Carlo Masters.

In its 116 editions, Monte Carlo has witnessed some incredible shots on its turf. One highlight was Rafael Nadal‘s amazing shot against Diego Schwartzman at the 2021 edition of the tournament, which left the reactors to the clip gobsmacked.

Schwartzman, who kept the Spaniard running around, trying to keep the ball in, controlled the point. Just as he moved forward to smash a forehand into the far end of Nadal’s court, the Spaniard still managed to get to the shot. Not only did he get there but also returned it with perfection, stunning the Argentinian and the athletes watching the video.

Other stars were also impressed and shared their reactions for the fans to enjoy. Nadal’s exceptional shots on clay were highlighted in the video, showcasing some of his best moments.

The clay season is on, and the tennis world is waiting for the return of its ‘King’. After Nadal pulled out from the Indian Wells, Rafa admirers had expected to see him at Monte Carlo, where he has won 11 titles.

However, at the last minute, the Spaniard pulled out, citing that he didn’t feel completely ready to compete. Following this, Nadal was back home, training harder than ever. And soon, he revealed exciting information that he is hopeful about his return to Barcelona. 

Hello from Barcelona. First training... I am excited to be here for a few days before the start of the tournament. I'm here to see how it goes, with the desire to try to play. I'll let you know. It’s important to say that I don't want to confirm I'll be playing, but I hope so. We'll see.

The Barcelona Open is another tournament where Nadal has dominated well. He has won 12 titles here and boasts a 66-4 match record. The tournament will begin in a couple of days, as Nadal is yet to confirm his presence there.

However, even their defending champion, Carlos Alcaraz, may not play due to his arm injury. The young Spaniard withdrew from Monte Carlo, and is highly unlikely to return for Barcelona, giving Nadal a good opportunity to shine on his second attempt at a comeback this year.
