Carlos Alcaraz Wants to ‘Kill’ Novak Djokovic Because of ‘This’ Reason
Carlos Alcaraz is bidding to win his fourth grass-court title at the Queen's Club Championships, which he lifted for the first time in 2023.

Novak Djokovic hurt Carlos Alcaraz by beating him in the 2024 Paris Olympics final, so much so, that the youngster considered killing the Serb. Obviously, Alcaraz joked because he had no choice but to answer who he would “kiss, marry, kill” between Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic.
Alcaraz is in London, participating in the Queen’s Club Championships. There he, and other players, were asked by British comedian Josh Berry several funny questions, one of which was the “kiss, marry, kill” one.
Why you’re asking me this? Why ask me this?
Carlos Alcaraz responded
His US Open mixed doubles partner Emma Raducanu declared: “There’s no way I’m answering this question, like zero.” But Alcaraz didn’t shy away from revealing his answers.
I would kill…Novak. Winning that final of the Olympic Games…I could marry Rafa Nadal.

At the Queen’s, Raducanu’s campaign was ended by the 2024 Paris Olympic gold medalist Qinwen Zheng in the quarterfinals. Alcaraz kick-started his grass-court campaign against Australia’s Adam Walton in the first round and will next face compatriot Jaume Munar, whom he defeated twice in their three meetings.
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina says the Netflix documentary didn’t portray Carlos Alcaraz well
In his Netflix documentary, Carlos Alcaraz: My Way, the Spaniard revealed that after his defeat to Novak Djokovic in the 2023 French Open semifinal, he went to Ibiza and partied for three nights. His coaches rather wanted him to prepare for the grass swing.

Alcaraz’s work ethic was questioned after this documentary. But according to Alcaraz’s idol, Rafael Nadal, the documentary didn’t portray him too well and their compatriot Alejandro Davidovich Fokina too agreed.
He’s a great person, a great player. I read something Rafa said, that in the end, it doesn’t reflect what Carlos really is. He’s a 22-year-old kid who has won four (now five) Grand Slams. No one else has, so obviously he has the right to enjoy himself with his friends. If he wants to go out to any party, he can. From what I read, it doesn’t reflect his real life well.
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina told SPORT
Alcaraz flew to Ibiza again, this time, to celebrate his French Open win. He came from two sets down to deny his arch-rival Jannik Sinner his first French Open title, defending his title in five hours and 29 minutes (the longest Roland Garros final) but not before saving three championship points in the fourth round.
Alcaraz won’t be having a chance to meet Sinner before Wimbledon because the Italian is at the Halle Open in his bid to defend his title as well as clinch his second-grass court title. Alcaraz, the winner of three titles on the surface, will start his title defense at Wimbledon after the warm-up ATP 500 tournament in London. The five-time Grand Slam champion lifted the grass-court Major in the previous two seasons by beating Djokovic.
Carlos Alcaraz is chasing his fifth title of the season at the Queen’s Club
Alcaraz tasted success for the first time this season when he lifted his first indoor hard-court title at the Rotterdam Open. Then after losing three consecutive tournaments without reaching a final, he entered the clay swing without winning a Sunshine Doubles title for the first time since 2021.

Alcaraz then ended the clay season with three titles, reaching the finals of every tournament he played and losing just the Barcelona Open to Holger Rune. The 22-year-old is chasing his fifth title of the season in London. The Queen’s title he lifted for the first time in 2023 but last year, his campaign was ended by home favorite Jack Draper in the second round.
