Carlos Alcaraz has always demonstrated his fun nature on the court and mentioned that it is important for him to enjoy what he does and smile throughout it. He extended this to his off-court lifestyle too as he took a well-deserved vacation in Ibiza after winning his third Grand Slam title in Paris last week.

The young Spaniard was seen grooving to songs and singing his heart out in a club on the Mediterranean Island. Before returning to action this week, he addressed the importance of the break and how letting loose and forgetting about his professional life helps him maintain his level.

As a player I need these kinds of things. Every player is different. But for me, to reach my best level, I have to separate the professional part from the personal part. I have to have my days off to enjoy, to forget that I'm a professional tennis player. I have to think about my personal side, be with my friends, my family, be calm, rest a little and put my racket aside.

Alcaraz also turned 21 during the French Open and made a deal with his coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero, which allowed him to take a three-day break to relax and regain his focus.

The Olympics kick off on the 26th of July and tennis events commence from the 27th. According to Alcaraz, the fan-favorite team will aim for glory with Nadal in the driver’s seat as the veteran has already won Olympic golds in both singles and doubles.

He (Nadal) knows very well what Roland Garros is. I think he's going to teach me how to deal with everything. I am the young boy who needs to grow as a player and as a person.
Carlos Alcaraz said

Alcaraz believes he has a lot to learn from his compatriot and idol, and recognizes the experience Nadal brings, especially on the revered clay courts of Roland Garros, where the event will be held.
