R-Truth has had a tremendous run playing a comedy character in WWE over the past eight months. He often confuses wrestlers for other people. During the most recent episode of Raw, he shared a backstage segment with Liv Morgan. However, the 52-year-old thought that he was talking to Carmella instead, claiming to have always liked her.

Unfortunately, her admiration for the female superstar cost him, as The Awesome Truth ended up losing the World Tag Team Championship later in the show. During the episode, the Princess of Staten Island responded to the segment on her X account. She told the former 24/7 champion that she loved her and attached a heart-hands emoji. Truth replied to the tweet, telling her that he loved her too.

The duo was actually paired up on TV for quite a while. They took part in the WWE Mixed Match Challenge, which was a tournament featuring tag teams of one male and one female superstar. The show was created for Facebook Watch, similar to the role WWE Speed fulfills today for X. The winners of this show would win an all-expense-paid trip to anywhere in the world, alongside the #30 spots in the next Royal Rumble.

Apart from the Mixed Match Challenge, they also appeared on Raw as a comedy duo. They put on hilarious backstage skits and even won the 24/7 championship multiple times during this run. Fans hoped that they would get to see more of this duo once the former Money in the Bank winner makes her return to WWE.
