Ruben Amorim has taken charge of Manchester United and has already completed his first training session with the first team. Clips of the Portuguese tactician with Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount, Casemiro and Marcus Rashford have already been shared on social media. In the wake of his first training session, several first team players have shared ‘messages’ on their social media handles.
Both Marcus Rashford and Casemiro reacted positively to their new boss. While Rashford posted a story on Instagram with the title ‘top session today‘, Casemiro posted on X with the caption ‘top training‘. Fans have interpreted the messages positively, seeing it as a precursor for Amorim’s rigorous training sessions to come.
Fans also noticed how Amorim called up 16-year-old defender Godwill Kukonki for his first session. Supporters concluded that young players will be given several opportunities this season.

However, a few were skeptical of the same, pointing to how the media will turn on the Portuguese after a few ‘poor’ results. Ruben Amorim made it clear that he is aiming to acheive the best results with the club during his first media availability upon jouning the Manchester side.
Randal Kolo Muani or Viktor Gyokeres : who will be Manchester United’s next striker?
Manchester United‘s new boss Ruben Amorim has an important task at hand – fixing the club’s shortage of goals. With fans mostly convinced that neither Joshua Zirkzee or Rasmus Hojlund will rise up to the task at hand, the names of Randal Kolo Muani and Viktor Gyokeres have come to the forefront.
While United legend Louis Saha suggested Ruben Amorim to go after Victor Osimhen, fans are still divided on which striker to sign. As per reports, Amorim has now shifted his focus to Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani. The 25-year-old has fallen out of favor with boss Luis Enrique and the club is open to loaning him out in the winter transfer window.

Kolo Muani’s €95 million price tag and lack of game time may also convince the player to consider United as an option. The need for a proven goal scorer has increased his appeal in Amorim’s eyes too. As things stand, United are 13th in the Premier League and need Amorim to inspire a comeback to the top.
