“My son getting into it!” Cason Wallace gets backing from teammate Isaiah Hartenstein after Alperen Sengun shove
OKC Thunder star Isaiah Hartenstien backed his teammate Cason Wallace after a heated altercation with the Rockets' Alperen Sengun.

After a rough first half, the Oklahoma City Thunder responded fiercely to defeat the Houston Rockets 111-96 on Saturday in the NBA Cup semifinals. The Thunder enters Tuesday night’s final against the Milwaukee Bucks on a five-game winning streak.
In the semifinal of the Eastern Conference, Milwaukee defeated the Atlanta Hawks 110-102. And it was Thunder youngster Cason Wallace and his teammate Isaiah Hartenstein who garnered widespread attention from the NBA community.
During a particular play, Wallace was involved in an altercation with Rockets star Alperen Sungun. Both were involved in a kerfuffle which led to Wallace shoving Sengun. On this incident, Wallace’s teammate, Hartensetin gave his take after the game.
“I loved it, I loved it. My son getting into it. I already got his fine so that’s all good. I loved it. That’s been Caso all year. He probably not been talked about enough, the things he’s doing on both ends.”

Hartensetin also claimed that he would ‘cover’ whatever fine the NBA imposes on Wallace for his altercation with Sengun. Aside from this, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, OKC’s standout player, scored 32 points throughout the game. Jalen Williams scored 20 points and Hartenstein scored a career-high 21 points.
After being limited to 41 points in the first half, OKC scored 34 points in the third quarter, led by three three-pointers from Luis Dort. In the end, the top seed in the west recorded a resounding triumph over the Rockets.

The NBA semifinal matchup between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets was a battle of defenses. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander missed eight of his first nine attempts from the field to begin the game.
The OKC star stressed after the game that he was competing against the ‘best defensive side in the NBA.’ On the other hand, his head coach Mark Daigneault ‘praised’ his side’s defensive aspect of the game.

The two sides started the game as two of the top three in scoring defense and are the two best teams in the league in terms of field-goal percentage defense (Rockets at 43.4%, Thunder at 42.7%). Interestingly, this season, the Thunder are 11-0 in games where they have limited opponents to 41% shooting or lower, a league-high 11 times.
