Rhea Ripley’s alleged ‘ex’ asks Kevin Owens to put in a good word for her to become friends with Randy Orton

This week’s SmackDown saw the return of Randy Orton. Moments before Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline were about to destroy Kevin Owens, The Viper came to the rescue. The show ended with the babyface stars standing tall against the unjust and crooked version of the faction. Following the show, the two stars relished their moment backstage in an interview with Cathy Kelley.
One of the key moments from the interview was when Kevin Owens and Randy Orton were playfully debating about being friends. Amid all that, Rhea Ripley‘s alleged ex asked the Prizefighter to put in a good word so she could also be friends with the Apex Predator. She even asked Viper if she was also his friend, along with the former Universal Champion, to which Orton showed a bit of reluctance.
It was a pretty wholesome interview backstage, where the 14-time World Champion even accepted that he considers Owens his buddy. Besides, the Canadian Superstar went on to reveal that he, along with the Legend Killer, are looking to get payback against Solo Sikoa‘s faction in the weeks to come.
Moreover, they even called the faction led by the Tribal Heir a “bootleg” version of the original Bloodline. The duo clearly looked confident after a triumph in Scotland. In essence, it is pretty clear now that their business with Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tanga Loa is far from over.
Kevin Owens and Randy Orton teased a possible match for Clash at the Castle
In the closing moments of the interview, Cathy Kelley asked Randy Orton and Kevin Owens about their plans for Clash at the Castle. The Viper and the Prizefighter responded with a nod to Kelley and said that they were thinking about something. Hence, teasing towards some type of involvement at the Clash at the Castle PLE.
Orton also said that he didn’t travel all the way to Scotland for nothing. It was another subtle hint towards the duo facing The Bloodline at the event in the OVO Hydro Arena. It makes sense as an angle for the faction was planned for the event, which was reportedly delayed after some changes.
Regardless, fans were excited to see the return of The Viper. His music blew the roof off of the OVO Hydro Arena. Therefore, it is likely that WWE might capitalize on the buzz and add a tag team match between both sides.
