This week’s SmackDown was a fresh start for a new era. Fans saw some talent in their main roster call-ups. One such name was Bron Breakker, who was drafted to Monday Night Raw. However, on his appearance on the blue brand, he decimated Cedric Alexander in a dominating squash match.

In under 30 seconds, Bron Breakker turned the triumphant return of Alexander into an embarrassing defeat. The former Tag Team Champion made his first appearance in five months on SmackDown. However, Breakker showed no remorse, as he absolutely destroyed Alexander with a grotesque spear. With the look on his face, Cedric couldn’t even grasp the turn of events against him.

Moreover, it was yet another dominant showing by the former NXT Champion. Bron is all set to mark a new chapter of his career on Monday Night Raw. He bid adieu to his NXT partner, Baron Corbin, backstage as well. Plus, even after only a few appearances, Breakker has made an impact on the fans, leaving them awestruck with his abilities.

Breakker has impressed the WWE Universe with his great performances on SmackDown in the last few weeks. He even went on to call out Cody Rhodes and Damian Priest, warning the world champions that he would be coming for them. Apart from that, he has the support of Triple H backstage. This was evident at the Royal Rumble, when he was handpicked as Brock Lesnar‘s replacement in the men’s match.

Tommy Dreamer criticizes Bron Breakker’s call up to the main roster

Tommy Dreamer, who is an ECW legend, is one of the most experienced vets in the business. Keeping that in mind, he expressed his views on Bron Breakker’s main roster call-up. He heavily criticized his booking and called his call-up a failure if WWE didn’t have any creative prospects for him.

Speaking on the Busted Open Radio podcast, Dreamer raised questions about the motive behind WWE wanting to get Breakker on the main roster. He called it a lackluster attempt, as it might turn worse quickly. Tommy also went on to say that anything short of stellar would be an underwhelming experience for WWE regarding the former NXT Champion.

Don't wish to get called up because if they don't have great creative plans for you, you're gonna get lost in the sauce," Dreamer explained. "Bron Breakker, his call up, I was like, 'Why are you calling up somebody now?'

Furthermore, the 53-year-old provided insight by saying that if WWE doesn’t have a creative vision for Bron, his run on the main roster might turn out to be lackluster. Only time will tell if what Dreamer says is true or not. However, he may be right to some extent, as these dominating victories in random matches might feel unnecessary and repetitive after a few weeks.
