After months of back and forth, the Dallas Cowboys finally offered the deserving extension to both of its star players, CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott ahead of the 2024 NFL season. The only highly-anticipated extension that remains is of star linebacker Micah Parsons, who would be eligible following this season.
In a recent interview on the Up & Adams show with Kay Adams, star wideout Lamb was asked about the contract situation of Parsons and he gave the most hilarious take. He also hinted at negotiations favoring the pass rusher as the team truly wants him on the roster.

Even though the Cowboys haven’t been able to succeed in the postseason, the bonding between the players is strong and that’s why, the team wants them to stay together. On an added note, he also reflected excitement for this season where he wants to end the Super Bowl drought of Dallas and so does his whole team.

Speaking of the contract situations, Lamb also applauded the well-deserving and record-breaking contract of star quarterback Prescott. He praised him by calling him a great leader, who taught him many things during their time together in Dallas.

Additionally, he also opened up about the recent changes in the team’s strategies and gameplay because of the signal-caller, who after last season’s playoff loss has been closely observing his play and ways to improve it.
Considering his sincerity and the impressive outing in 2023, the Cowboys rewarded him by extending him a record-breaking $240 million contract. This deal not only secured Prescott for the four-year but also made him the highest-paid quarterback in the league’s history with $60 million per year earning.
