CeeDee Lamb feels the work he put in with Dak Prescott during bye week will reflect against the 49ers
CeeDee Lamb, who went into the bye week with extremely low morale after losing to the Detroit Lions, is back reenergized to play against the 49ers in week 8.

CeeDee Lamb went into the bye week following two scoreless fixtures and a devastating loss against NFC rivals the Detroit Lions. If the Cowboys had beaten the Lions, then the mood would have been different, but the defeat gave Lamb and quarterback Dak Prescott a chip on their shoulders to ditch having fun and put more legwork into their efforts.
On Thursday, the Cowboys returned to Arlington as they continued their preparation for the high-stakes game against the 49ers in week 7. Lamb spoke with the media and revealed that he and Prescott had a great bye week, working on their chemistry, which they so often have lacked this year.
Prescott backed up his wide receiver and was confident ahead of the 49ers game.
CeeDee Lamb on getting in some extra work with Dak Prescott during their bye week: “We love our bye weeks. We took advantage of it. We got right. … We used every opportunity to get better and I feel like it’s going to show.

Troy Aikman’s most recent remarks shed light on the Cowboys’ recent difficulties. The additional load fell on the receivers as a result of Aikman’s caution in not hitting Prescott too hard to put pressure on him.
Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb need to bring their A-game for the rest of the season
No short of the best can save the Cowboys’ season. And by best, they have to be flawless. Mike McCarthy’s side needs to have a 9-2 record following the bye week if they wish to bag the top 3 seeds in the NFC.
As things stand, all four seeds are occupied by NFC North teams, and the trend is more than likely to continue during November.
They need to bring the motivation this week when they play a wounded 49ers team who are without Brandon Aiyuk, Christian McCaffrey, Talanoa Hufanga, and several others. The Cowboys mustn’t forget the result of the reverse fixture last campaign, which finished 42-10 even though they had a full-strength squad.
Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb’s connection has to work for the Cowboys to carve out a string of victories before thinking about playoffs. Lamb so far this year has 42 receptions for 467 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. Dak has 1602 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. Last year after the bye week, he threw for 30 touchdowns in the remaining games and finished the campaign with a league-high 36 TDs.
