The Cincinnati Bengals snapped the Dallas Cowboys’ two-game winning streak on Monday night, further dampening their postseason hopes. The Cowboys currently rank twelfth in the NFC, trailing the New Orleans Saints, with four games remaining in the season.

The Bengals, also facing the threat of missing the playoffs, kept their slim hopes alive with a narrow 27-20 victory over the Cowboys. Joe Burrow completed 33 of 44 passes for 369 yards and three touchdowns. On the Cowboys’ side, CeeDee Lamb delivered one of his most productive performances, recording six receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown.

CeeDee Lamb expressed his true feelings about the showdown. He lamented that the loss sucks, considering the win could have put them much closer to the fight towards the last playoff spot.

Yeah, it sucks. Obviously, We needed the win and we didn’t get it. So as for everybody in the locker room, I mean, obviously, that one hit us. And yeah man, I ain’t really got too much to say on it. But yeah it sucks

CeeDee Lamb told reporters

Lamb had been doubtful for the game as he was nursing a shoulder sprain all month long. He originally got injured during the Cowboys’ loss to the Eagles in Week 9 when he fell on his shoulder thrice. Lamb played with the injury for three more weeks before tweaking the AC joint on the right shoulder during the Thanksgiving game against the Giants.

Last Friday, Lamb informed that he would be available for the game while discussing his drop count rising, while Dak Prescott remains injured. Although Lamb had a productive evening, a video surfaced of Lamb asking for help with his dress post-game. He also admitted that his shoulder “is what it is.”

CeeDee Lamb admits all losses hurt while expressing offensive woes

CeeDee Lamb gave kudos to the defense while speaking on offensive pitfalls during the game. The wideout admitted that the defense contained the Bengals enough to allow the offense to score, where they came up short.

He addressed that the loss is no less than any other setbacks that they have had this season. The Cowboys had eight losses with five wins, with just one from their home.

They all hurt. They just hurt the same. I mean, they add up, and then this is what you get…

CeeDee Lamb remarked

Lamb went on to add some more vignettes to their offensive woes amid the game.

Yeah they did a good job, obviously, just stopping them, giving us an opportunity to take over the game, and giving us plenty of opportunities. Obviously some of them, we didn’t maximize and fulfill. Going into the half-time, we kind of dried up on the offensive side. And coming out, we were still short. So we got to be better.

CeeDee Lamb weighed in

The Dallas Cowboys have three tough opponents in the coming weeks, including division leaders Philadelphia Eagles. Their easiest opponent would be the Carolina Panthers whom they play next week at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
